Stand Up to Racism Together Project

📢 Our FREE Stand Up to Racism Together Project is back for the summer! 📢
Running from August 14th to August 19th, participants will attend workshops on racial discrimination and stress management, learn graphic design on an iPad with Adobe Creative Clouds and create their own posters to raise awareness against racial injustice.

Remote One-on-One Homework Club

Our Bridge Program is now recruiting new participants! 
If you are a Grade 11/12 student who is a newcomer to Canada and are currently looking for help to advance into Post-secondary institution, then our Bridge Program is the right program for you!

N.E.E.D.S. Inc. collects personal information related directly to and needed for the purposes of registration and admission to programs and services provided to clients. Providing personal information to N.E.E.D.S. Inc. is necessary for registration into our various programs and for accessing services offered by our agency.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. Except for our collection of cookies, which is discussed below, we only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell, share or rent information we collect from you to anyone, except for the purposes that are explained in this privacy policy, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. We may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request. We may disclose specific and limited personal information to recognized funding organizations for the purposes of administering their programs and reporting on client activity and services accessed. With your consent, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about new services, or changes to this privacy policy. You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time.

N.E.E.D.S. Inc. employees, practicum students, and volunteers:

  • Are required to sign a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Are expected to treat these policies as a matter of the highest priority.
  • Are required to be proactive in ensuring the security of all materials pertaining to clients.
  • All clients, employees, students, volunteers, donors, contractors and board members are expected to comply with this policy.

Will only release information about a client if the client has voluntarily signed a release of confidential information form which specifies:

  • What information is to be released.
  • Who is to receive the information.
  • The period of time the authorization is in effect.

The collection, use and sharing of your personal information is protected by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act of Canada (PIPEDA), The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
