Newcomers Employment & Education Development Services (N.E.E.D.S.) Inc.

Smoothing path to a new start in Canada

Immigrants and refugees to Canada arrive with great hope for a safe and happy future. But the path to success in a new country comes with big challenges. Without the right kind of support, hope can quickly turn to struggle and despair.

N.E.E.D.S. Inc. offers newcomer children, youth, and their families programming that makes integrating into Canadian life easier. Our psychosocial supports and education, employment, mentorship, and recreation programs help our participants develop the life skills and confidence they need to succeed.

OUR SERVICES

Provides enhanced services and supports for school age newcomer children, youth and families for the first 12-18 months of arriving in Winnipeg as a way of increasing integration into their new school and community.

Employment Services

Employment Services help immigrant and refugee youth (ages 16-29) develop the employability skills required to enter and successfully participate in the Canadian labour market.
